Valpo Velvet offers several solutions for events both large and small (50-5,000+ attendees). The options detailed below are each staffed by Valpo Velvet employees. If you're interested in a more DIY approach check out our rental options.
Our events season kicks off in April and runs through late December however you may contact us year-round to discuss your event's details and schedule the solution that best suits your needs.
ICE CREAM TRUCKS
Introduced in 2009, our mobile fleet has been a huge success. Each truck arrives with two VV team members who happily serve your guests. Check out our options below.
In the event you have additional questions, would like to discuss other product offerings, or would like to schedule a truck, please contact us. We'll collaborate to determine the best options available based on your event's location, power options, etc.
PRICING & MINIMUMS
We have a 15 mile radius for truck events, any jobs outside of that radius up to 30 miles will be charged a $100 travel fee. For jobs outside of that 30 mile range, please contact us for additional information.
1 Hour Event $375 + tax (If sales exceed $375 in 1 hour, excess items will be added to final bill)
2 hour Event $600 + tax (If sales exceed $600 in 2 hours, excess items will be added to final bill)
Additional Hours for truck: $100 per hour
*TRUCKS CAN BE RENTED FOR SCOOPS ALONE OR FOR A FULL TRUCK CONTAINING SCOOPS, NOVELTIES, SHAKES, AND FLOATS.
*All prices displayed are minimums for truck rental. When your time slot concludes, you must pay for additional hours (depending on schedule availability) if you would like more scoops, regardless of the amount given during your time slot.
A $250 non-refundable deposit is required to book the truck (Cash or Check only).

ICE CREAM PARTY
This classic combination is our most popular option and makes the perfect treat for your celebration. One or two VV team members (depending on event size) will dish out your choice of ice cream (number of flavors based on number of attendees) in guest's choice of cup, sugar cone, or cake cone.

• Valpo Velvet base fee of $100
• (Ice Cream is $4 per single scoop or $6 per double scoop) Minimum of 50 Scoops
• Napkins, spoons, cups, and tablecloths included
*A minimum of $200 (50 scoops) + base fee ($100) will be charged even if the number is less than 50, any scoops above that will be charged accordingly.
VINTAGE SUNDAE BAR
We arrive at your event with our old-fashioned sundae bar, your choice of two available ice cream flavors, as well as 4 choices of toppings including chocolate syrup, caramel syrup, strawberry topping, pecans, sprinkles, and crushed Oreo cookies.
On top of that, we'll throw in the whipping cream and cherries because it wouldn't be a vintage sundae without 'em. In the event you have additional questions or would like to schedule your vintage sundae bar, please contact us.
